Hi Folks,

Hope you have all had a good week, I have certainly had a productive one, very fulfilling.

Mam got out of hospital on Monday,so she is staying with us for a couple of weeks until she finds her feet again.

We were in the Gallery on Tuesday meeting with a publisher who is keen to publish my work. I am very flattered and hopefully it will go well.

Wednesday took me down to Northumberland so tie up some loose ends with my old family house and then on to Berwick to meet with Martyn, our web designer. The website is almost there and will certainly go live in the next week. Yvonne and Pavel spent the entire day clearing out the Garage, the first clear out since it was built! In the evening we watched a determined Welsh team go out of the Euros, a fantastic effort.

Thursday was spent in the Gallery finishing off two commissions. The first being for the lovely Evans family who are coming up to Kelso next week to collect the piece. It has been a lovely piece to work on, a VW camper with a snow couple.

The second is for Mhari, the widow of my great friend John. The commission depicts a ‘Gillie’ snowman in front of their cottage. Something timeless that will hang on her wall and keep her love for him flowing until they meet again. A lovely tribute indeed. John would have been entitled to claim his bus pass today (Sunday 10 July), John often mentioned getting his bus pass, not that he would have used it, but he really wanted to have one.

Friday and Saturday were both spent in the gallery, busy chatting to customers old and new.

Today I am going to a very special remembrance service, more about this next week.

That’s it for this week, have a great week ahead.
