I hope you are well and all is good in your own lives.
We are well and globetrotting Glenda Jean is in Germany touring with my uncle Billy and auntie Ann. She reports back that it’s very hot and the cake is very good and her beloved Newcastle United FC are not playing as well as she expects!
The gallery continues to run along nicely with all the amazing people in catching up with. People like the Edwards, Bells, Smiths, and Gosdens to name a few, Telling me that they are loving the new THH Gallery experience. For me I would sum up every visit and catching up with collectors, friends and visitors, like a young man who has Christmas morning every day. There’s nothing like the interaction with wonderful people to lift you to the stars, infinity and beyond.
It’s been a semi- productive week on the painting front, one commission nearly done, Yvonne says if I do less gassing and more painting it might be more productive.
On Tuesday this week we shared a Chinese meal with our great friend Martin and his lovely mum Mrs C. During WW2 Mrs C was stationed all over the UK working with Radar.
Whilst listening to her tales on Tuesday it was clear that Mrs C was a true unsung hero, a truly inspirational and beautiful woman. One of the best evening we have ever shared.
I had family members who fought in all spears of WW2. Some, who humbly returned almost a forgotten army from fighting the Japanese. Let us remember their sacrifices and that of all sides victims of conflicts, and hope in the future we continue to tolerate and learn from each other. To make for a world where compassion, tolerance, love and respect is the driving feeling towards each other.
Finally can I thank you all from the Gallery team Katie, Angela, Robert, Madmick and myself for your fantastic support and messages.
Have a great week.
