Hi and welcome back

Well the week started with clearing out the attic and the outbuildings at my family home in Boulmer, Northumberland. Luckily the weather was good but it still took 2 days of hard work and toil, however the job is now done.

On Wednesday, Yvonne and I took the afternoon of and went up Edinburgh to eat Pizza and watch Star Trek, fabulous, I am a really trekkie fan.

Thursday saw me lift the brushes and make great inroads on my newest painting titled
‘Catch me if you can’ depicting a lady driving a red and blue sportster. I really enjoyed being able to spend most of the day painting, something I have not been able to do for a while.

Friday was spent in the gallery, mainly painting but also chatting to our many visitors and a couple of collectors placing orders for commissions for Christmas. On Friday evening Yvonne cooked a delicious dinner, this is amazing on 2 fronts, she cooked and it was not just edible but delicious.

Saturday was also spent in the Gallery, so a good week all round.

Today we caught up with our friends Jim and Sarah and also watched the Charity Shield matched between the mighty Manchester United and Leicester. We won, great to get a piece of silver so early in the season.

I am ofter asked about the Boat at the back of the gallery, simply this enormous sculpture is based on my own artwork and my journey through life. We have a story board at the rear of the gallery explaining, drop by anytime and have a look.
