Well hello, and welcome back to this week’s blog.

I have had a strange week which has included motivating our new helping hand in the garden. Young Pavel (16) and I have spend a bit of time together. He has been using the Strimmer, laying forrest bark, and his favourite job – sitting on the grass cutter!

Pavel has also been away the middle of the week doing army selection testing in Edinburgh.I feel like a parent when he’s around, feeding him, organising his work and tea stops, and I’ve offered him an apprenticeship should the army not work out to be his calling. Strange how people come in and out of our lives. Whatever Pavel ends up doing, I hope he stays safe and is happy.

The week again whistled through and on the subject of whistling the flying Scotsman has been in the area. Amazing and lovely to see.

The studio has been busy with visitors and visiting artists. Lovely as always to catch up with so many of you. I have been working through the commissions list which is good and the latest snowman is about to leave the gallery. Snowmen are requested 12 months of the year, brilliant personnel momentous of time gone by or as it is now.

Well that’s it for this week have a good one.
