Monday

Got to get in gear this week, my Spring Exhibition starts in the Art House on Saturday 1st March. But today Yvonne has an appointment at the hospital and then I have a meeting in Musselburgh.  Home around 5pm and managed to get some painting done.

Tuesday 

Took a few canvases into the gallery to get a feel for the layout of the room for Saturday. Managed to squeeze in a haircut, I was starting to look like the Nutty Professor. Home early afternoon and spend the rest of the day painting. Very enjoyable.

Wednesday

Went into the gallery early to work alongside young Jenni, she is coming on leaps and bounds and I really enjoying working alongside her. Colin came in to give me a hand sorting out frames ready for the exhibition. Tomorrow will be a big day cause the scary wife will be in as well as Colin and she will organise everything for Saturday.

Thursday

Scary wife in gallery with Colin wrapping work and framing and hanging new work, still got one to finish and varnish but should get it done by this evening. We finish around 4pm and the gallery looks like it will be ready in time.

Friday

Colin get the outside of the boat cleaned today, what a difference, and we also photograph all the new work to enable it to be loaded on the Website etc. Get home late afternoon as I still have some stories to write to go with the new work. Finish around 10pm . Early night.

Saturday

Great start to the new exhibition and my new work is well received. Great to see some many friends and collectors including our friends Martin and Dee who were celebrating their Wedding Anniversary. Home to slump in front of the telly and hopefully a long lie tomorrow.
