Monday

Up at the crack of dawn to get on with the USA collection. Last night I received a telephone call from a gallery in Las Vegas wanting to show my work! As this could be a very large exhibition, her indoors suggests we should make a personal visit. What a great idea. Yvonne spends most of the day organising flights etc and I paint. Bliss

Tuesday

Yvonne has one of her dreaded lists so we go into Kelso early to go to bank, pop into the gallery and buy all the bits and pieces required. The only good thing about Yvonne’s list is that she does most of it.  I pop over to the airfield to make sure the plane is ready for tomorrow.

Wednesday

The sleep police get me up at daft o’clock so I can get to the airfield for 7.30am. My great mate David is flying down with me to Morpeth so I can sit my GFT renewal. I pass so this is a good week so far. Have a great flight up again with David but I am shattered. No painting tonight, just a bit of light telly and bed.

Thursday

Another day of painting while Yvonne sorts out the packing etc. It is a lovely day so we have a walk to blow away the cobwebs. Typical, just as we prepare to leave the weather improves.

Friday

Go into Kelso in the morning for haircuts and take Mum out for her lunch to Floor Garden Centre, excellent as always. Home in the afternoon to do final packing and load up the car ready for a very early start in the morning.

Saturday

Up at what time !!!!!!!! Reach Edinburgh Airport at 6am, off we go ………….
