Monday

Dropped my mam and Yvonne off at the Borders General Hospital. Mam is going for her pre-op before her operation in December. I used the time to order more canvas, paint etc. Light lunch and then dropped Mam at home before going back to get on with the Snowmen.

Tuesday

Yvonne under the weather today so its a day at home.  Operation watch the ‘Sopranos’ , a great series which gets you hooked. Yvonne starts to feel a bit better after Tea.

Wednesday

Painting in the studio today alongside Jenni Bell who is currently on day release fro Earlston high School. Jenni is learning about the commercial side of the Art business and I love mentoring her. Jenny has real talent and I get a buzz out of helping her to get started and watching her talent grow.

Jenni also has wonderful taste in music and we both sign along whilst painting.

Thursday

Up in Edinburgh with Yvonne. We are exploring new venues for my work and had a great day. Like all days with Yvonne there are many Costa coffee stops!!!! Stopped at Costco and ending up buying something we couldn’t live without !

Friday

We are both in the gallery today. Yvonne is in the public domain and I am really getting on well with the Christmas Commissions.  Should have a batch of snowman cards by the end of next week.

Saturday

A while ago I help out a great friend of mine, John Burton (Tony Blairs ex constituency manager). John had started a fund raiser for St Mary Magdalene’s church to install a stained glass window in memory of John’s  lovely wife, Lily, who died 3 years ago. It was a lovely day with John and his family. No tie required – my kind of gig! A beautiful window for a beautiful lady. Well done to all concerned.
