Hello everyone,
Can you believe how fast this year is spinning by? It feels like just yesterday I was packing away the holiday decorations, and now – well, you know what’s around the corner! I hope your 2025 has been filled with colour and creativity.
A Little Peace in a Busy World: The Studio By Appointment
I have to share something that has completely transformed the studio experience for both my visitors and me: the appointment system.
It’s been an absolute game-changer.
Instead of the sometimes-hectic open studio vibe, we’re now creating these lovely, peaceful little pockets of time together. My wonderful collectors—both old friends and new faces—have been getting in touch to book their slot, and the result is magic. You get my undivided attention, and we get to have a proper, unhurried chat about the art. No distractions, just the joy of connecting over creativity. It really has been the loveliest thing.
When Old Friends and Art Collide
One of the highlights of this system was a recent visit from my old mate, Grant. We go back over three decades (a fact that makes me feel both wonderfully nostalgic and slightly ancient!).
He popped in for a cuppa and a catch-up, but he left with something more—a beautiful piece that depicts the struggles of life. It was one of those perfect moments where you see a piece of art truly find its person. The look on his face, the connection he felt to the work…
that’s the whole point of what I do. It’s about more than just a painting; it’s about a story that resonates with a heart.
Your Invitation: Find That Special Piece
As you can imagine, the studio is starting to hum with that special festive energy. It’s the perfect time to find a unique, heartfelt gift— whether that’s a stunning statement piece for a loved one (or yourself!) or one of the ever-popular, whimsical Snowmen to bring some seasonal cheer.
Spaces are already starting to fill up, so if you’d like to book your own peaceful studio visit and find that perfect piece, please do get in touch. Let’s create a little moment of calm and creativity amidst the holiday rush.
Can’t wait to see you,
Tony
