Hi readers,
Well, summer has arrived at last, a few days of fantastic weather and everyone is smiling.
Our week started well on Sunday with a visit to the Edinburgh Fringe. Along with pals Jim and Sarah we walked the royal mile and saw a show in the Cowgate, finishing the evening with a wonderful meal in our favourite Chinese in Dalry Road.
On Monday I worked from home on a commission piece that I must have ready for a very special event in September. Regardless of anything else I will ensure this is finished on time. More to follow in due course.
Thanks to a scammer, I spent Tuesday morning in the bank sorting out all the hassle caused. If these people would put their skills to good use the world would be a much better space. At luchtime we attended a funeral in Christ Church, Duns. It was a lovely service, conducted by a lovely lady, Grace.
By Wednesday I was back in the gallery and spent the whole day working on commissions. Wed night saw us at a 5 year olds Birthday Party, a great night was had by all.
Thursday took us to Strathaven to pick up wonderful new work from Philip Raskin ready for his exhibition and demonstration on Sunday 28 August. This will be a great day, join us if you can.
On Friday I was back to the Gallery and never lifted my head all day ( except to drink tea!). so certainly very productive.
I don’t know when I found the time to sleep this week, what with commissions and the fantastic GB performances in the Olympics. A great week all round.
Until next week, enjoy.
THH
