Hello and thanks for taking the time to pop by and catch up with my blog. 

Studio time 

I spent Saturday in the Gallery painting and enjoyed every minute, painting and chatting to visitors as well as having a wee mug of tea. The latest collection is a 5 painting series entitled “In the Footsteps of Giants’ These works pays homage to 5 artists who have been inspirational in my own development as an Artist. Special thanks go to Olivia who supplied the fabulous mugs of tea, thanks Liv. 

Energy levels returning slowly and hopefully by the end of year. I will be back to normal. 

Sad Note 

A week of reflection, as a great North East statesmen Mike Nevil passed away.  Mike did over 45 years service to the North East News. I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times, he was a very warm and down to earth man, proud to be from the North. We shall miss his humour and banter. All the best Mike. 

On a more positive note the gallery is bouncing and it’s as always lovely to catch up with so many of you. I love putting the world to rights with so many of you.
