Hello and welcome back to this weeks blog.
“Well who would believe it” I said to myself on Sunday the 1st of January 2017, the years were gaining pace and almost flying by. Well I was going to slow time down and therefore make the years last longer! So we’re now into November the clocks have gone back, dark nights are here and well that just did not happen. Time ignored my thinking and efforts and rumbles along gaining speed again.
Studio
I have been inspired by the Autumnal pallet and getting stuck into all things new, watch this space.
Gallery
The gallery is looking amazing and if your looking to impress your self or a loved one. Why not pop in to see what would add to your home to make even more lovely.
Q – first piece of art you can remember creating?
A – well I’ve doodled for ever and drawn, sketched and coloured on fag packets, old packaging, envelopes. Anything paper based for ever.
The oldest piece I have from my past is something set as home work in 1978. A Beatles Yellow submarine album cover. Great fun doing it and I covered it in sellotape which is why it probably survives to this day in my studio.
Remembrance Sunday
If you’re passing the gallery this week we are remembering those that gave their lives and suffered so we could all be here with the freedoms we have today. We have a hand cast vase with the poppy image and a lone soldier silhouette. £1.00 a strip, winner drawn on Saturday 11 November. Good luck and all funds go to Scottish Poppy
Well that’s it for this week thanks again for popping by. Enjoy your week ahead. Love and best wishes to you all.
