OLA,

This has been a huge fortnight with one thing and another.

Last weekend we had our wonderful neice, Beth for a sleepover with four of her mates as it was her 14th birthday. On Sunday, Yvonne went up to Edinburgh with the girls and did a bit of retail therepy in George Street, lunch at the Hardcore Cafe and the girls took the train home on the Waverley Line to Galashiels.

On Monday we left for a flying visit to Spain to secure our bolthole for the Winter. We return tomorrow and ensure that all is ready for our re-launch exhibition ‘Heart and Soul’.
The exhibition has new works from myself, Lynn Rodgie, Anthony Hall, Angela Bates, Sarah Berry and Leigh Lambert to name a few. We hope you will be able to drop in and see us from 11am onwards on Saturday 3rd October or during the following week.

The visit to Spain, has included meeting with three galleries, all of whom want me to do Solo exhibitions! Great news but Yvonne will now be cracking the whip as I already have commissions to do for Christmas. The trip has been a successful one with all our goals and aspirations more than realised. The Spanish people are lovely and made us feel very welcome, spanish lessons have started!! I managed to get some painting done and look forward to much more in the future.

Back at the Gallery, Angela has been holding the fort, thanks for that Angela and work is leaving the building.

On a further piece of Great News, our neice, Beth has got a place on the ‘British Swimming World Class Podium Potential Squad’ what a fantastic achievement.
