The ‘Heart and Soul’ exhibition was an amazing success over the month of October.

It was lovely to have so many of my paintings go in to new collections. It was also very nice to catch up with so many of my old and new collectors and friends in the gallery.

I really can’t believe my luck in that this is my day job and it’s the best job in the world. I’m in this position because of your amazing and continued support, and the great team I have around me.

This artistic journey I’m on has gone from strength to strength, but I never take anything for granted. Every day I set foot in the gallery and in my studio to start work, I remember where I started, a lad from a North East council estate, now an artist and a major gallery owner!

It was like the title for the exhibition ‘Heart & Soul’. That is what I and rest of my team put into our bit of the art world every day. That success and continued success, I do not take for granted.
