New Year – New Collection – ‘The Explorers’

The latest collection records our inner wanderers and how we all like to travel to far off places meeting with great people, young and old who often become life long friends. These journey’s of discovery and great moments in time help to recharge our souls and allow us to face what is ahead in our lives.

This collection also reflects how, at times we can treat ourselves, when we deserve it,to a new set of wheels, a reward to ourselves. I know from my own experiences that experiencing new places and cultures can be as much an education as education itself. I am fortunate to have done both. I am a little unconventional in that I was a mature student at Sunderland, and I have been fortunate to have visited all continents on our planet in many forms of travel.

I have tried to record the fun of the journey and the great feeling of achievement you have by getting there and back and adding to your life’s experience. Having just spent a few months exploring and painting in the Valencia area of Spain which has reinforced my inspiration for this collection which encompasses many forms of transport, Scooters to Speedboats, Racing Cars to Rockets, Trains to Trams and everything in-between.
