Hi Friends,
My Blog is taking on a different format, instead of a weekly roundup I am going to write on an adhoc basis, telling you about all the exciting things that are happening for me at the moment.
As you already know I have a show in Rockland, Maine later this year, on the back of this I was asked to exhibit in a gallery in Las Vegas. Well what an opportunity to get on a flight and combine business with pleasure.
Two days later her indoors had made the arrangements, packing done and we were of to blue skies, sun on our backs and all sorts of other great stuff.
We flew from Edinburgh to Gatwick and then on to Las Vegas, arriving on Saturday afternoon. A short cab ride and we arrive at Elara Hilton. Yvonne had the cheek to say ‘ its a bit hot.’ Our suite was on the 36th floor with views over the strip. We had 5 TV’s in a one bedroomed suite, typical USA – a bit over the top. However the view was amazing.
After dropping of the bags we set of in search of food ….. The Harley Davidson Cafe as shown below. Want to know how it went – Part 2 will be here soon.
