Welcome back,

What a week, I have done over 50 TV , radio and newspaper interviews this week and
all because of the £5 notes engraved with a portrait of Jane Austen. As many of you will know I spent the first note in Granny Jeans bakery in Kelso last Monday. I certainly received value for money spending it on pies and cornish pasties. so, where is it now, well it could be anywhere so keep checking the English Churchill notes and if you find one please get in contact with the gallery for verification. Our Christmas Show had a wonderful start last weekend and it was great to see over 700 of you in the gallery in the first two days of the show. The show runs until Christmas Eve and we are open every day (except Monday 12th & 17th). Pop in and see us and remember that we are now serving coffee and tea in our new gallery room.

Please remember that you can now access the gallery from Abbey Row as well as Bridge Street.

I have had very little time to sit at the easel this week, but will have to get to in in the next couple of days as I have a couple of commission pieces to complete before Santa arrives.
