Well hello and welcome back to my Blogg.

How has your week been ? I hope you have all had a good one, and all that are close to you are safe and well.

Hard landscaping of the grounds ( big garden) is getting there. And 12 years of being on other projects has almost been made up for. Yvonne has worked ever day watering, planting, tending, cutting grass, strimming etc. So a massive well done goes out to her, freckles are being roasted in the sun and she’s having a great time.

I have lent a hand when needed and managed to get a lot of studio time painting away.
I’m working on a couple of special commissions. And pushing on with some new pieces.
I have also been doodling an idea for a piece of sculpture for a while, so watch this space.

We have lost some great actors, musicians and Charles Kennedy this week. Always a great shame when good people leave us.

Do you know I have two things I try to live by:-

Treat people as you would like others to treat you.

And, using good Karma, make footsteps where there have been none before.    This for example opening the Art House gallery. With an ethos  to bring a major gallery to the Scottish Borders. And helping bring art to all ages from Primary Schools to old peoples homes. Also taking the time to work with, encourage and mentor artists along the way.

I know ultimately we are all going to go at some point.  It’s the difference we make to others while were here that what will define us all.
