I’m penning this weeks blog on the move. We are out in the Jalon valley sitting in a very spanish restaurant ‘ Hallelujah Aleluya’ people watching and drinking coffee, during a break whilst at the traditional spanish market. I love the interaction of multi languages and the mannerisms of each nationality.
The Dutch people we have met seem very relaxed and friendly. Years ago I had a great holiday in Tunisia with Gordon a mate and some great Dutch folk, they helped to make the holiday. The Germans we bump into seem to be reserved yet have a self confident manner about them and like us loving the climate. The Spanish I’m watching are so expressive with gestures and mucho waving of arms that they seem to be arguing, but they aren’t, they have a great sense of mischief and fun.
This trip away to work on my new collection has been lovely, a great experience with wonderful memories and great company of course. Well, coffees drunk, doodles and sketches for new work done. It’s now time to further explore before we leave for Scotland later this week and back to see all you lovely folk in the Gallery.
I hope you all have a great week ahead, best wishes to one and all.
