Well hello and welcome back to this weeks blog. I hope whatever you have been up to it has been fun, rewarding and you are all in good health.

The last week has been productive in the studio, and good for the soul.I was at the Scottish Parliment on the Veterans Committee which deals with ex service personnel and their resettlement back into civilian life. There are many challenges for a few of our service leavers and it’s nice to play a small part in a system of learning and engagement for their future well being. I am touched by the drive and determination of the ex service personnel and the dedicated team of people who from all walks of life strive to make a difference.

The Parliament building it’s self,although incorporating a lot of concrete, is slowly winning me over to liking it. Not its cost mind or the fact that no Scottish or British architect was involved in its design.Unfortunately that’s what happens when you hand politicians the purse strings.

Yvonne has spent another week in the garden and it is now only a couple of weeks away for the completion of stage.I have a real calling to do some sculpture to put in it, so watch this space.
