I managed to do some painting in the early part of the week. This studio time has been great and very good for the soul. It’s like something is missing when I’m not able to painting due to other commitments.

As you know the last 18 months have led to a lot of other health care commitments and this has limited any exhibiting. I’m not complaining as both Yvonne and GJ now seem firmly on the road to recovery.

So as you’re reading this I’ve taken myself off to Spain to have advanced talks with a fantastic gallery on the East coast, so fingers crossed more to talk about in the coming weeks on that and other gallery exhibitions that are planned.

Spain is a lovely temperature at this time of the year, 25 ‘C every day, and we have visited several inspirational places for research, lots of beautiful harbour’s and beaches. The locals are warm and friendly which is always nice.

I’m setting myself a goal to learn some Spanish, I know, being a Geordie, once I’ve mastered English!!
