Hi and welcome back,

Today I’m writing my blog reflecting on a man who’s endeavour’s showed me an ordinary lad from the North could aspire to be anyone he wanted in this life.

Brendan Foster, a local Geordie lad. When we watched big Bren run either 1500m or more usually the 5000m and 10000m, he would run his heart out his head knocking back and forth, you felt every step with him. Either delivering a bronze at the Olympics or a gold at the Commonwealth games, Big Bren made a declining area feel good about itself.

Big Bren this last week stepped back from a career commentating, an inspiration to all.

He Inspired a very young Asthmatic lad to run and train and achieve, I was that young man one of many. Thanks Bren, and good luck with what’s next in your life.

I took that drive and determination to succeeded. And eventually ended up with an amazing art gallery where all are welcomed as long lost friends. Showcasing, yes my own art, but also that of up and coming and established artist friends of mine.

Well, almost caught up with the commissions list, just in time to start the Snowmen pieces for Christmas, can you believe that!

I’m managing a few hours on a Friday and Saturday easing my way in. Working life is now getting back to normal. You know your doing something right when the loveliest of cards  and gifts arrive to help me back to full fitness.

Until next week love and best wishes to you all. And have a great week ahead.
