Well hello and welcome back to this weeks Blog.

I hope you are all well and have had a great week. The time has flown by since I arrived back in my gallery studio in Kelso, it really feels like i’ve never been away which is great.

Its been lovely catching up with young and old and collectors new and long term. We have had some great budding artists through the door and a lovely visit in particular from the Evans clan and young Jayden making his first visit to the gallery. I sense after the great time we all had, there will be many visits to come.

I was asked by a lady, after the visit of a young family the other day, why I spent so much time with them and encouraging the young children in particular. I explained my experience at school was that it won’t lead to a job so why take art ? Well a painting on your wall at home or in a gallery can take us all on a journey without actually leaving the space we are standing in.

Lifting collectors and visitors spirits each and every visit to the gallery is what we love doing as artists, its always great catching up with you all.
