Well hello and welcome back to this weeks blog. I hope it finds you all in good health. 

It’s official January has now passed and the gallery building is looking amazing. We’re gearing up to the next 11 months, with our exhibitions diary being finalised now to bring in amazing artwork from our great artists through a series of VIP Nights where you get to catch up with the Artist in attendance in our usual relaxed setting over drinks. 

Studio time

It’s been a great week, putting the finish touches to no fewer than 6 pieces which I have been working on since the turn of the year. 

Jane Austen £5 notes

The third engraved Jane Austen £5 note has been found in Northern Ireland in the area it was released a few weeks ago. It appears that the finder may be going to donate the note to a worthwhile cause, watch this space for further updates. The £5 note spent in England is still out there so good luck to you all in searching for it. 

Finally 

I have just be informed about the loss of a good pal of mine, Jim Wilson. Jim never shy to pop in for a catch up and a good crack, was diagnosed with cancer in January and sadly passed away on Saturday. Jim collected the odd painting or two over time and as you know, through time you all feel like extended family. We send our love to Lynn and all the family.
