Well hello and thank you for popping bye to read and follow my Blog, hopefully life is being kind and good to each and everyone of you.
I’ve heard the poor weather continues to batter the UK, not much fun for you all. The daily blue skies here are wonderful and off amazing light, a great place to start from every day in the studio. I now have a great place to paint when winter comes a knocking.
I am in a daily routine of painting from around 6.30 am till 11.30am, followed by some time exploring with Yvonne and having a bite to eat with the locals before spending a few hours in the evening painting. As we are in a very spanish area, the locals we encounter are delighted and a little amused at our elementary Spanish, however we are now able to order in a cafe and understand day to day conversation. My dyslexia makes it tough to read books to learn a language, but repetition like ordering coffee or food, is making some Spanish stick. This, plus hand gestures and a smile goes along way. I am really enjoying the interaction. The Spanish people
I am calling my Spanish collection ‘The Explorer’, as I know there is an explorer in each and everyone of us given the opportunity.
They remind me of the ‘Tribe’ we met in Navada a couple of years ago, who we danced and worked with. Very little conversation but lots of smiling. People who have very little but would share their last morsel with you.
Well that’s it, a short update from us.
Till next time love and best wishes to you all.
