Hello and welcome back to my blog. It’s lovely that so many of you continue to follow what we are up to, a big thank you for that.

Well it’s Easter already, and yes there has been an odd chocolate egg or two brought into the house for the purpose of stretching the elasticity in my belt.

We have been planning for a visit. Two of my brothers, Paul and Mike are visiting us this coming week, along with little Thomas who is seven going on twenty seven and with a calorie burn of around 10,000 calories an hour. He never stays still, always exploring and running around. Brilliant to see and the conversations we have are just lovely. It’s magical and definitely artistically inspiring to have his and my brother’s visits.

This last week has just flown by, there never seems to be enough time in a week when good things and visits occur. We have had some help in the garden and done a little ourselves (Yvonne has done lots) as we continue to get everything ship shape after 12 years of mainly cutting the grass. When finished it should provide a fantastic setting for art inspiration with any visitors to the relocated THH studio.

It’s been a slightly restrained painting week with all our works and visitors but that occasionally is no problem. I realize that I have to be accepting of that from time to time with our new life balance.
