Well hello and welcome back to this weeks blog.

The last week for us has been strange, sad, exciting, productive and changing.

Work in the studio goes well and I’m on track to keep up with commissions and new works which is great. Australia and Spain look like goers on exhibitions. More to follow over the year on that. Strange to think I will be travelling soon to exhibit. But very exciting to.

Over the last week some of you have been in contact to say you have gone to visit the Art House Gallery but have found it closed. I am sad to have to tell you that the Art House Gallery has indeed closed. I would like to put on record that It’s a brave man who tries something new like David did with the Gallery. I wish David, Gordon and the family all the best in the future going forward.

As you can imagine this news and set of circumstances have been challenging, sad and demanding. So going forward:-

With careful allotment of our time and as we speak building a new gallery team to support me. We will relocate the Tony Huggins-Haig Gallery back from Hardens Hall Duns as was planned, to 22 Bridge St Kelso. As previously our ethos will remain the same and we will continue our art related and mentoring in the community and beyond. As before we will also support our great artists friends, locally, Nationally and Internationally. We also intend to showcase some wonderful new additions ………(Watch this space)

Were gently easing back into setting up the THH gallery and were going to open launch in late July/early August . We have tradesmen in the building at the moment, refurbishing and decorating in readyness. Hopefully you will all be able to join us for our launch. And as always a warm welcome will be waiting for you.
