Hello and welcome back to this weeks Blog.
It has been a very busy week in the Gallery. The early part of the week saw Yvonne in the Gallery getting ready for the Refurbishment Sale. The sale started on Wednesday and we are adding new pieces every day until the end of September. This will help us make space to enable us to carry our the works at the back of the Gallery.
Angela, our ‘front of house’ has left us for pastures new to take up a caring role within the sheltered housing development where her mother and step father, Jim reside. Jim, of late, has had a series of health problems and this was the over riding influence in Angela’s decision. Angela will be a big miss and we would like to say a massive thank you to her and wish
Can I say a massive public thank you to Angela and we wish her, Darren, Steven and family all the best going forward. She is an amazing carer and she will be fantastic in her new role. She promises to visit us when she can and we look forward to those visits.
Well it’s been mad catching up with commissions and potential new commissioners.
There is simply nothing like meeting amazing people and painting a lovely painting or two for them. This weeks picture is for a lovely lady who is putting together a Huggins-Haig room. Which from an artists point of view is lovely in its own right. I am honored in that I have a lovely collector base and want to thank you all.
Gallery hours, we will be closed from Wednesday 5 October until Thursday 13 October, reopening on Friday 14th October ( to enable preliminary refurbishment works ) and from Friday 14 October until Christmas we will be open Wed – Saturday. Should you be unable to visit on these days please let us know and we will arrange a suitable time for you. Just email us at: info@thhgallery.com or telephone 01573 228666.
Well that’s it for another week, until next time enjoy the success of the GB team in the Paralympics athletes. From PB’s to medals they as always remind us all of how determination, endeavour and hope can over come anything that life can throw at us.
Stay lucky and chat next week.
