The simple as this is, yes, I do want to be painting all the time. As a creative person that’s what I’m here for. However, as a man from a very humble beginning in a council house from North Northumberland,  I ran around the streets with my friends and family and that bond has never left me. 

So when we set the Arthouse up, It wasn’t just to sell my work, It was to help my friends and family sell theirs. Over the years we have supported many, many artists in their careers. From those just starting out to more established artists. I in turn have been supported by Yvonne and the family, allowing me a painting career spanning two decades. 

And of course never taking you our amazing collectors and friends for granted. Your interaction and support is why I do what I do. I know I’ve said it before, but your help, belief in what we do and love, make this the only job I ever want to do.
