Hi all,
As most of you know I have been in the Middle East working on not one but 6 commission pieces. In Oman they love colour, this maybe due to the fact the most building are white or cream in colour, the vast majority of vehicles are white and the Dish-Dash worn by men is also white.
I loved painting out there, the skies at sunset were amazing and the contrast between the mountains and beaches was dramatic, breathtaking. The many harbours and fishing villages were filled with colour and an inspiration.
Ramadan is due to start this week so I won’t be back there for a while and I still need to finish a body of work for my show in Maine, USA , later in the year.
So plenty to do – I just have to get on with it. So I am back at the easel and also in The Art House Gallery in Kelso on a Saturday. The gallery looks great so why not pop in and have a chat and see the wonderful new work on show.
