Welcome back to my blog. What a great week this has been, on the Painting front all has gone well and I’m getting on nicely with the commissions list. Should be on track to have it cleared and delivered by Christmas which is great. Always strive to make that personnel piece of artwork a reality for Christmas Day.
It’s been a little strange not working from the Art House, but working solely from home saves me around a day a week in travel and lost work time. So the benefits out weigh the negatives, and I’m keeping in touch with you all through Facebook and the THH website and news letter.
Putting something back – You may remember I did a bit of mentoring with Jenni Bell from Jedburgh. I received a lovely text this week from Jenni who is now studying art at Dundee University. She is loving life and the course, and I have no doubt will be an amazing artist after her time there, she already is!
Also today I got a home visit from Victoria Kerr a young lady who I have watched grow, with encouragement, into a lady who is possibly one of the finest equestrian painters around today. All this despite disability. Victoria has a wonderful supportive family around her. Both Jenni’s and Victoria’s work can be found in the Art House.
I have also managed to have a visit to my aircraft along with our neice Beth and her pal Kirsty, both of whom enjoyed playing pilot!
Well that’s it for this week have a wonderful week ahead.
