This week Tony has, as usual, been very busy. There are still possibly hundreds of ‘snowmen’ paintings to be completed, but a constant stream of visitors has kept Tony, always a social animal, busy when he should have been painting in his gallery.

Recently, Tony has been painting and, of course, liasing with visitors–but not, strangely, flying. His aircraft, now fitted with a working engine, is still to be repaired fully. A new heater still has to be installed, as well as a new cable set to fix Tony’s faulty GPS.

The Gallery’s upper rooms have finally been ripped out, and are now awaiting renovation. They are to be turned into offices. Tony plans to use them as a quiet place for meetings with artists and business associates. Otherwise they will be used as working spaces.

Not much painting, as mentioned above, has happened in Tony’s studio this week. Due to engagements below, on the Gallery floor itself, Tony has been largely struggling to keep up with his ‘snowmen’ paintings, whose popularity rockets as Christmas, the festive event of the year, approaches. So far, nine snowmen have been finished, though Tony is confident that his snowmen will all be delivered to their new owners before Christmas.

Tony is, however, always pleased to see visitors in the Gallery, and generally makes time to chat with them if at all possible. He realises that, visitors or not, time spent painting is now precious–preparations for the Art House Gallery’s annual winter exhibition are now underway.

In all, this week has–as usual–been extremely busy, albeit satisfying.
