It’s official, August is here so fingers crossed we will finally see some Summer Sun.
It’s been another blur of a week and tonight my mate Martin informed me that Christmas was 17 weeks away – how can that be!
The Tony Huggins-Haig Gallery is going well, we are still refining bits as we go behind the scenes. The gallery I was told yesterday by Angela, from Jedburgh “Looks amazing.” High praise indeed. We are 99% there with the painting of the building just a coat on the front door. And all builder works are complete.
The journey from run down and tired looking building – To new roof and facelift for the next fifty years has taken a bit of time (Mainly because of the weather) but we can see the finishing line. A big thank you to Phil Stewart and all the gang involved in the transformation, and a huge thank you to Scotty for the great paint job.
Like all resoration jobs of this nature there has, from time to time, been a bit of noise and dust and would like to apologise for any inconvience caused, but we hope you will all agreet that the end result has been worth it.
We look forward in the Gallery to our continued role of playing our part as a community focused, independently owned, warm and caring art destination.
Delivering my own art work and that of my fellow artists going forward.
Off to paint ,have a great week ahead. And love and best wishes to all.
