Well Hello Friends, and thank you for returning to my blog.
Back In The Studio!
I’ve juggled several commitments this week, but my favourite part has been getting back into the studio. With some pieces for my brand new season finally getting the time and attention they deserve, as well as some wonderful commissions being set upon! There is no doubt that when you paint, you find yourself in a time and place of great tranquility.
The Power Of Art
I know from my work with ex military service men and women with PTSD, that painting and the power of art can, and indeed does, calm the soul and mind for all the participants. it is amazing to see the sense of achievement and relaxation these individuals get to create. A very little step on the road to repair, but a step all the same.
Lisa – the newest member of our gallery family – heads back to Aberdeen this weekend to continue her art education at the Robert Gordon University. She has worked with us very successfully for several weeks now and has grown into a fantastic colleague.
An amazing young lady, who will become a very accomplished artist in her own time. Thank you for all your hard work, see you next time Lisa!
Finally, whatever the week ahead has in store for you, I hope you are safe and happy.
Love from me and the amazing gallery team,
THH xx
