Monday

Had lots of family staying over Christmas, Brother Michael and his family leave today to go back to Oman, Bother Paul and his family will leave later in the week. mum away to stay with Olive ( Yvonne’s step mother) for New Year. We have a quiet day as Yvonne feeling a bit under weather.

Tuesday

Hogmany! and I won’t be sad to see this year go. Yvonne’s fight with Cancer was inspirational, what a lady. But it takes it out of you, her frame is thin and movement at times restricted.

But she is still here and is in my book amazing. We have a quiet day with the family and a lovely quiet night. A good way to say goodbye to a long hard year.

Wed

First day of what we hope will be a great year for all. We see Paul, Sue and our wonderful nephew Thomas leave and get the house back to our selves. A lot quieter than the last ten days.  A  day of getting the place ship shape. Then

Back to the brushes painting a Kelso painting. Coming along fine. Then Harry Potter the last film a nice quiet day.

Thursday

New Year, new efforts to slowly get us fitter. Lots of walks to start with,weather permitting of course. We head out looking for a new sofa set for our upper lounge, only a 20 week wait for delivery

Friday

Popped into the gallery today to catch up with the gang and messages. This is 2014 and with having passed the reins of the gallery to David and Gordon, this year is about painting and getting my art work to a wider audience.

In the pipeline Maine, USA and possibly Ireland and Australia.

Will have to see how it goes but very excited about potential shows and of course the big boat THH gallery at the Art House.

Sat

In the gallery, lovely painting and interacting with clients and pals, A nice way to end a holiday period with pals. A little under the weather been a tough old year but 2014 I hope will be good to you all.   

THH
