Monday 4 November

Yvonne away shopping again! this time with her sister, Louise. I am in the Gallery starting a new commission for the lovely Lonsdale Family. They want a snowman painting with triplet snow people. Had lunch with our great friend Martin at the ‘Hoot n Cat’. Great Day.

Tuesday 5 November

Started another new painting, this time it will be raffled for The Royal British Legion. The painting is titled ‘Between a rock and a hard place’ and depicts a simple snowman remembering our armed forces and how at the slightest whim we send them into danger and when they leave the forces we fail to support and house them. Tickets for the raffle are £ 1 each and are available from the Art House Gallery in Kelso.  The raffle will be drawn on Saturday 20 December and all proceeds will go to the Royal British Legion.

Wednesday 6 November

Yvonne away for Blood Tests today, she has been having lots of nose bleeds and it seems that she has a low white blood cell count, results on Friday.  I am carrying on with the two snowmen pictures I started earlier in the week.

Thursday 7 November

Day off today. Yvonne and I went down to Wooler and had a catchup with Clare and Jason from the Design Studio. Then on to Warkworth for a stop of retail therapy at Grays. If you have never been it is a great shop run by Tim and his lovely wife. Wonderful shirts for me and scarfs for Yvonne.  Great quality and service.

Friday 8 November

Back painting, must remember to order more paint!  Yvonne went for a haircut ( not sure which one she got cut as it is still very short ). Caught up with some mates for a coffee at Pharlanes ( directly across from gallery). Take away for tea.

Saturday 9 November

Favourite day of the week, love catching up with collectors. The Lonsdale Family are coming in to see the commission before it is presented to Ian Lonsdale for his 80th Birthday next week. had a nice lunch at Cobbles so won’t need any Tea tonight. That will please Yvonne as she hates cooking and she’s a rubbish cook ( don’t tell her). Tomorrow will be a day of rest with a wee bit of painting.
